In a video that has gone viral across social media platforms where 4 Arabic school teachers are seen lashing a student and her colleagues for allegedly attending a friend’s birthday party, and taking alcohol and posting a few photos on their social media page.
The said video has gained a lot of public backlash with many people calling for the arrest of the teachers and the headmaster who ordered the flogging of the students. It is mostly a common sight to see students in Arabic schools being flogged but the state at which these students received several lashes randomly across all parts of their bodies was very inhumane and right abusing.
Supporting their act, they claimed that Muslims are not allowed to celebrate birthdays which is punishable by several strokes of canes and also it is forbidden for them to drink alcohol. Supporting Themselves, the students claimed they only took yogurts during the birthday celebration but later to pictures sitting with other friends who had alcohol on their tables and posted on their social media handles in which their Afa misconstrued.
The students were left with several lash marks and bruises on their backs after receiving several lashes, the state government made sure the students had medical attention and also invited the police to commence investigation into the matter to produce arrest soon click here to watch the video.
