The rate at which fire outbreak recently occuring in Ghana is alarming and requires an immediate response.
The students and staff of Mampong Technical College of Education were in tears at the time Angel TV News reporter visited the scene at about 10:00AM.
The Administration block which contains the documents of the college was on fire today, 19th April, 2021.
According to report, the residents who live close to the college saw smoke coming from that direction and decided to check, only to find out that the block caught fire and had already spread to the roof of the building.
Some residents explained “When we saw that we quickly shouted to other colleagues who rushed and came and start pouring water on the fire.
It didn't work like we expected and we had no option than to call the Ghana National Fire Service for an immediate response. As about one hour later, the Ghana National Fire Service had not reported to the scene of the incident.
Adding that the incidence would affect the college in many ways since the Administration block contains the records of the college.
