What The NTC Has Said To GES Teachers Today.

The National Teaching Council NTC as part of it's licensing and registration of qualified teachers in Ghana to achieve teachers professionalism wanted to issue full licence and registration numbers to teachers. Upon this exercise, teachers were asked to register using the NTC's portal via tpg.ntc.gov.gh before May 2021.

The National Teaching Council NTC is then urging teachers who have done with their registration already and have gotten 100% to exempt themselves from this current registration. They will receive new registration numbers afterwards.

However, other teachers who have also been classified as non-professionals will be given the chance to register after this current exercise and issued temporary licence.

The National Teaching Council NTC is also notifying teachers who were recruited after August 2018 that their data is being worked on and also they can log in from Monday to update their information.

Furthermore, most of the teachers too have passed Ghana Teachers licensure Examination but are not employed yet. The NTC has said to those teachers to also register from Monday. With those teachers, they have to pay Ghc200.00 to get the full licence.

Moreover, the NTC has told GES staffs that, they have already prepopulated some basic information about them on the portal. Those teachers are to ensure that their names on the portal tallies with what is on their professional certificate.
