The management of the Ghana EDUCATION Service has released a notice proving that the much anticipated Laptops have been released to be given to teachers.
It can be recalled that the Ghana EDUCATION Service has promised to provide Laptops for all teachers in the service.
The government is supposed to pay seventy percent of the cost while teachers pay thirty percent in batches.
According to the letter released today, and intercepted by Wysopera, all Regional Directors of EDUCATION are notified that the Laptops have been released and are ready for distribution.
In order to ensure a smooth distribution process as per the modalities, all Regional Directors are to liaise with the Headmasters and Headmistress of Senior High Schools to provide them with a validated list of names and Staff ID numbers of Teachers in their various schools.
This, Wysopera believes would be done through the District Directors that would contact call upon the Heads of schools, that would also liase with the Heads of the various departments in the schools to provide information on the teachers.
The information on teachers must be submitted to the Director-General latest by Friday, 30th July 2021 at Mid day.
