The Basic Education Certificate Examination Timetable for the 2021 Exam Year has been released by the West African Examinations Council to basic schools in the country to prepare towards the examinations.
The Exam is to commence in September and since the First Semester Ended, the final years have written the first Mock Exams in some school within the country.
Other schools are preparing to write their second mock, a way of familiarizing the students with impending examinations ahead.
Per the timetable, The students will be writing Social Studies and French first on 15th of November 2021 followed by Mathematics and Basic Design and Technology on the 16th of November 2021, English and Religious & Moral Education will be written on the 17th of November 2021, Integrated Science and then Ghanaian Language and Culture will be written on the 19th of November 2021 whilst Information and Communication Technology will finally be written on the 20th of November 2021.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Education Service has introduced the new carriculum without book to fully run the course, the carriculum needs new books to be made available but some teacher have since complained that the Ghana Education Service has kept mute on the Development resulting in Impromptu teaching practices, they added the books have not been made available yet they are asked to write lesson notes, a teachers questioned what they should use as reference points as its it being demanded in the lesson note books.
