Today is a very great day for every teacher in the world, especially teachers in Ghana. On this day, which is the 5th of October, 2021 teachers around the globe are applauded and praised for their dedicationd and efforts towards instilling knowledge and discipline into students.
This day which is regularly celebrated to honor teachers in the world was brought into existence by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in the 1994 as a way to commemorate the diligence, dedication and hard work of teachers in the world.
Ghanaian teachers are also celebrating this awesome day and they have even be Celebrated by the Ghana Education Service. Some teachers in Ghana are also taking this opportunity to congratulate themselves and other colleague teachers of theirs.
A particular Facebook user took to this popular Facebook page called Tell It All to celebrate or congratulate himself and others for their hard work with a picture of himself teaching and Ghanaians can not stop commenting about it.
The comments kept flowing in numbers till one user released a very heavy statement about Teachers' salaries and what the current government led by Nana Akufo Addo should do about it.
The netizen wrote that, "Happy Teachers'Day, May Akufo Addo Increase Your Salaries by 50%."
