As Ghanaians, we are not as proud of our tertiary institutions as we are of our senior high schools. It makes no difference if you attended Ghana University or Cape Coast University.

High school is all about preparing you for life after graduation. High school provides opportunities for physical, mental, and intellectual development. Most positions in the country require candidates to have completed high school. As a result, high school education is an essential aspect of one's life and career.

I've put together a list of our favorite Ghanaian celebrities and the high schools they attended today.

1. Becca

Rebecca Acheampong, better known as Becca in the entertainment industry, attended Wesley Girls.

2. John Dumelo

Achimota School's John Dumelo is a graduate. If you're a Ghanaian, you're already familiar with Achimota. Around 80% of Ghana's politicians are graduates of secondary school. Which may explain why John Dumelo avoids acting in favor of campaigning for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

3. Kofi Kinaata

Martin King Arthur is his real name, but he is better known as Kofi Kinaata. The young rapper was born and raised in the Ghanaian town of Effiakuma, in the Western Region. He completed his secondary education at Takoradi Technical Institute (GSTS), where he gained a large followers due to his natural talent, which he has displayed when he was in school.

4. Samini

Samini (formerly Batman Samini) is a Wa-based Ghanaian reggae and dancehall recording artist. He went to senior high school at St. Magaret Mary.

5.Yvonne Nelson

Aggrey Memorial Senior High School was where Yvonne Nelson attended. Aggrey Memorial is one of Cape Coast's many excellent schools.

6. Majid Michel

Majid Michel, a former actor who is now a priest, went to Mfantsipim Senior High School and St. Theresa's. They are well-known for their basketball prowess and domination.

7. Stonebwoy

Stonebwoy earned his High School Leaving Certificate at Methodist Day Secondary School in the same year as rapper Sarkodie.

8. Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale attended Aguafo Secondary School for his senior high school education. In high school, he was known as "Baby Boy," and he changed his name to "Bandana" and released the song "Moko Ho(Bandana from Ghana)."

9. Sarkodie

Sarkodie, the fourth of five brothers, was born and raised in Tema. Tema Methodist Day Senior High School was where he went to school. Yes, indeed! He graduated from the Great MEDASS.

10. Jackie Appiah

Jackie Appiah was a Havard Senior High School student. Isn't it shocking? It's possible that you've never heard of Harvard Senior High School until today. Yes, I agree!
