The Government on Friday engaged Teacher Unions to cancel their modern activity as dealings progress forward with their interest for 20% Cost-of-Living Allowance (COLA).
An assertion gave by Mr Ignatius Baffour-Awuah, the Minister of Employment and Labor Relations, toward the finish of a crisis meeting held in Accra between the Government and Organized Labor.
The Government was addressed by the Ministers of Employment and Labor Relations, Finance, Education and National Security on one hand and coordinated work on the other.
The assertion said the Government had observed the interest by coordinated work for 20% COLA in the illumination of the ongoing monetary circumstances winning in the country.
It repeated that the Government was focused on connecting with Organized Labor to track down an enduring answer for the issue.
In the radiance of the prior, the gatherings had made plans to reconvene on Tuesday, twelfth July, at 1400 hours, to start dealings on request by Organized Labor, the assertion added.
