The Foundation presented each of the schools with a 30-seater 2020 Toyota Coaster Bus.
Cynthia Darko Acquaye, Chief Operating Officer of the CH Group, said the donation is part of the CH Group's ambition to help Ghana become a hub of world-class education in the West African subregion.
"At the CH Group, we recognize that dominating the global economy necessitates the required human resource, which is firmly based on education," she stated. That is why we have taken this step to support the education industry to convert the country into a global education hub."
"If our forefathers' efforts are to be meaningful in the future, we must invest in today's and tomorrow's children." As a result, one of Africa's most serious concerns is the quality of its education. We feel that as Africa's black star, an inspiration to the continent, we are well-positioned to spearhead an education revolution in the West African subregion by establishing a World Class education hub. We feel that if we all work together and play our parts, this can become a reality."
Representatives from the Achimota and Mfantsipim Old Students Associations expressed their gratitude to the CH Group Foundation for the gesture and ensured that the buses will be put to good use.
The CH Group Foundation is in charge of the CH Group's and its subsidiaries' corporate social responsibility. The Foundation aims to give back to better the lives of people in the communities where the Group and its subsidiaries operate.
