1. Ohemaa Mercy.
Mercy Amoah popularly known as Ohemaa Mercy was born in Weija, Accra to Fanti's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Amoah, from Abakrapa and Elmina respectively. She lived most of her young life in Koforidua. Ohemaa Mercy undertook her primary education at St. Peter's Anglican Primary School, Koforidua, and secondary education at Ghana Senior High School, Koforidua. 2. Obaapa Christy.
Born on December 7 at New Suame to Mr. Akwesi Twene and Mary Amoah Twene. Christiana Twene is the second of nine children. She started singing at a tender age. “I always went to school to sing or to pray.” I remember I was always called to lead praises and worship at school and was asked to pray for anyone who was sick.”
Obaapa Christy started music with “The Hallelujah Voices”, a vibrant music group in Kumasi until she was approached by Osuani Africa. Here is a picture of Obaapa Christy and her son.
