Video: Director General Was Drawing An Anology Base On What He Does In His Office - Kwasi Kwarteng

The Education Ministry said GES Director General Prof Kwasi Opoku Amankwah was only making an analogy regarding the review of the Free SHS policy that he has been doing in his office but there was no emphasis on the review of the Free Senior High School.
The spoke person of the Ministry of education Mr. Kwasi Kwarteng, the statement of the Director General was not based on facts but it is natural for people to conclude someone's statement.
“The Director-General was drawing an analogy based on what he as a person has been doing in his office. At no point did he make any emphatic statement that the Free SHS policy was going to be reviewed,” he stated.
He also said that the only person who can make pronouncements on the free SHS review is either the president of the land or the Minister for Education, Dr. Yaw Adutwum.
“Policy decisions largely, if you want to go into the details of it, has to do with the Executive for that matter the President of the land and the Ministry, in this case, which happens to be the Minister of Education Dr. Yaw Adutwum." He said.
