Good news for all Senior High Schools in Ghana.

Thank you for clicking on this article

Some days back, the Teachers and Educational Workers Union (TEWU) came out to complain about the delay in releasing the fund for feeding of students in public Senior High Schools in the country.

But now the Ministry of Education has come out to informed the general public that, the Government has released some amount of money for feeding of students in public Senior High Schools across the Nation.

According to the Ministry of Education, the government through the Ministry of Education has released GH¢ 125,998,145 million, of which GH¢ 83,184,673 went to the Buffer Stock Company, with GH¢ 42,813,472 going to headmasters of Senior High School for the payment of perishable components of feeding to schools.

The Ministry of Education also stated that, they are ensuring parents and other stakeholders once again that the Free Senior High School (FSHS) initiative is not under stress as was being peddled around by some for reasons best known to them.

I think, this is really good news for all the Senior High Schools in the country. Please share, like and comment on this article.
