Former president and the 2020 flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress made huge impact on the Ghana education system by the introduction of the community day senior high school project. This project has become a game changer in the current Free senior high school program by the Akufo Addo led government.
However, before he was voted out of power, John Dramani Mahama was still in the process of completing some of the community day senior high schools. The uncompleted projects have been abandoned by the New Patriotic Party government.
The chief of Aflao traditional area Adzongaga Torgbui Amenya Fiti V called on president Akufo Addo to help complete the school in his area but Akufo Addo's reply have received a lot of public backlashes as deemed disrespectful.
