Mfantsipim School, popularly known as Kwabotwe, won the 2021 Central Regional Championship of the National Science & Maths Quiz to clinch their first ever trophy at the regional level. The Competition was between the archrivals Adisadel College, University Practice and Assin State College. From the beginning to the end of the competition Mfantsipim School dominated the competition, finishing with 53 points, with their closest rivals following so closely with 35 points. University Practice took the third position with 20 points and Assin State with 18 points was the fouth in the position after the competition.

St. Augustine’s College (National Champions, 2019)and Wesley Girls’ High School won the previous editions of the Central Regional Championships but could not make it for the final competition of the 2021 Central Regional Championship.
