
Deputy Minister for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development and MP for Techiman South Constituency Hon.Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah has extended financial support to 200 students who are mainly from tertiary institutions at a program held at the Bononkyempem Hall in Techiman on 22nd January 2022.
This is in fulfillment of his pledge to continuously support people in School especially among needy students within his political catchment area.
He has extended support to the people over the years through the MIKAM FOUNDATION. This led to the instituted MIKAM Teachers awards scheme for Teachers and other non-Teaching Staff of the GES within the Techiman Traditional Area.
So far hundreds of beneficiaries have also received various packages ranging from home appliances, tricycles and cars, all aimed at motivating the beneficiaries.
This year’s Teacher awards program is expected to come off in October 2022. This awards program has helped a lot of teachers over the years in the Techiman South constituency
