Pupils Of Seseku D/A Battling With Snakes For Space In Impoverished Classrooms

The lives of school kids or schoolchildren at the Seseku D/A Basic school are at high risk. These children have consistently been fighting with snakes to have a place to sit and learn in their classrooms.

News from Onua TV's Maakye program show that, the school have constantly been seeing snakes in the school's classrooms and compound.

Per pictures and videos revealed, the school is currently in deplorable state, it has walls made up of mud and the roofs are damaged as well. And one thing that is causing this problem is the fact that, the school is in the bush. This makes snakes enter the classrooms.

According to Onua TV, Akua Sarpomaa a journalist at Onua TV visited the place, she was welcomed by one of the snakes that have been scrambling for space with the school kids.

The teachers of the school also complained about the distance that exists between their residence and the school. The pass through the bushes before they can get to the school.

Seseko D/A Basic School is in the Atwima Mponua Municipality of the Ashanti Region. Teachers of the school have pleaded with the government and other agencies to help them solve the school's current poor situation.
