There have several publications backed a letter which specifies the exact date of reopening of schools as the most anticipated news by citizens in and outside the country.
In a circulating letter which was issued a day ago and has the assent of the head of Public Relation Department, Madam Cassandra Twum Ampofo explained that all the SHS one and two students are to report to school on the 6th of September 2020, thus, both Green and Yellow tracks.
Again, the JHS level is reporting on the 8th of September 2020 as indicated in the letter.
However, the Ghana Education Service has quickly responded to the letter as fake and therefore the public should ignore such news.
Officially, 10 member committee has been given the mandate to review the school reopen period by the education minister, Hon. Matthew Opoku Agyemang which the recommendations are not yet out, hoping by next month September.
