The Management of Ghana Education Service, GES has proposed a date for the writing of supplementary promotion exam for released qualified GES staff who could not sit for the promotional exam due to the inability of the system to generate their index numbers and exam centers.
GES is officially scheduled for the exam to be written across the country. Many candidates could not find their names and index numbers and exam centers in the list and for that reason could not take part in the aptitude test.
The Ghana Education Service following the unfortunate incident in a press release signed by the Director-General of GES, Prof Kwasi Opoku Amankwa dated indicated that a Supplementary test would be organized for affected teachers upon provision of their details for verification.
Indeed, during his tour to the Accra College of Education exam center, he specified that the Supplementary test would be organized in a week or two.
Therefore, all candidates who applied for the various ranks such as Principal Superintendent, Assistant Director II, Assistant Director I, and Deputy Director and could not write with their colleagues should get prepared.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) in a press release signed by the Director of Human Resource Department, Mrs. Adwoa Van Vicker has scheduled 26th March 2021 for the said exams to be written across some selected centers across the country at exactly 09:00 am.
The Ghana Education Service has however indicated that candidates with issues regarding the details of the promotion exam should contact their various regional offices before March 20th, 2021.
