Promised In 2020 & Delivered In 2021: Check Out How Peter Amewu Has Transformed This Basic School

The Member of Parliament for Hohoe Constituency and incumbent Minister for Railway Development, Hon John Peter Amewu has today, 21st October 2021 showed one of the promises he made to his people. During the 2020 campaign season, John Peter Amewu promised the electorates of Hohoe Constituency that if they give him the mandate to serve, he will put up a lot of educational infrastructural in the constituency.

Among these infrastructural projects is the Fodome Helu Basic School in the Volta Region. This basic school was built by the missionaries in 1948. Since that time, no renovation or maintenance has been done by any Member of Parliament. The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has ruled over this constituency for decades but nothing was done to improve this school building.

But Hon. John Peter Amewu has fulfilled his promise to the people of Fodome and built a new 6-unit class block for the people after defeating the long-serving Bernice Adiku Heloo of the NDC in 2020 parliamentary elections.

This is what John Peter Amewu wrote on her official Facebook page after posting this picture:

"Accountable Leadership to the people of Hohoe Constituency. Fodome-Helu's new 6-unit classroom block was commissioned to replace the old structure built in 1948 by missionaries. Promised In 2020; Delivered In 202".
