The National Science and Mathematics Quiz is a friendly competition among Ghana's Senior High Schools. It has also aided and improved the country's mathematics and science education. All schools that qualify for the competition from the preliminary round strive to be one of the three schools that will compete in the finals.
Authorities from various schools collaborate to organize trials ahead of the main competition so that their respective contestants can get a taste of what to expect at the main event. In light of this, a quiz contest was scheduled at the Adisadel School on the 1st of May. Opoku Ware School, Kumasi Academy, Aggrey Memorial A.M.E Zion Senior High School, University Practice Senior High School, St. Augustine College, Mfantsipim School, St. Monica SHS, St. John's School, Oda Senior High School, and Adisadel College were among the competing schools.
