Ghana currently has a big problem right from the leadership to the citizens. There are many problems which the country needs to concentrate on. Rather, full time and effort are geared towards "useless" things which are not worth their time. Initially, the leadership were the individuals who were guilty of these actions. Surprisingly, the media houses, journalists and bloggers have taken over.
Recently, some two Rastafarian students were denied admission into Achimota School. Since the time they were denied admission, journalists "wasted" precious time to discuss it. The students sent a petition to the court. They won the case on Monday and thus, Achimota School was ordered to admit them into the school. Right from Monday, these events flooded the headlines of most of the television stations. Most television stations invited guests and panelist to discuss these issues.
Yesterday, one of the Rasta students, Ras Nkrabea went to school. Most media houses took time to make a documentary of him. That one not enough, they took pictures of his every moves. Today, Tyronne Marghuy took turn to go to school. Citi TV and TV3 among others, took pictures of his toilet roll, brooms, face, in fact everything and posted it on Facebook.
In my opinion, what they are doing is really irrelevant. They should rather focus on important things.
