A rainstorm has ripped off the the Hila Limann Senior school the Upper West Region.
The school which is situated in the Sisala West District of the region was hit by the rainstorm in the late hours of Sunday 23rd May, 2021.
According to the Headmaster of the school, Mahama Jelinge, the storm destroyed several properties of the school. He writes on his facebook page "A terrible rainstorm has dealt Hilla Limann Snr High School a deadly blow destroying our boys' dormitory, girl's dormitory, the headmaster's office , staff common room, cornmiill room, and parts of the dining hall"
From pictures sighted by this reporter, the headmaster, teachers and students are seen standing or assessing the extent of damage caused.
It's however unclear yet whether NADMO and other higher authorities have been informed about the disaster.
A similar disaster in the Upper West Region involving fire, burnt down the boys' dormitory of the Birifoh Senior High School in the Lawra Municipality last month.
