The National Teaching Council (NTC) is one of the organisations in Ghana. The National Teaching Council (NTC) is responsible of conducting the licensure examination for teachers and ensure that the examination meets technical and professional standards and status of a teacher, by assessing candidates' abilities to practise competently.
The National Teaching Council (NTC) has come out to informed the general public especially candidates that, the Council has decided to postponed the 2021 edition of the teacher licensure examination (GTLE) which was scheduled to be administered on 23rd September, 2021, to 24th September, 2021.
According to the management of the National Teaching Council (NTC), the postponement of the conduct of the second phase of the 2021 Ghana teacher licensure examination (GTLE) is due to circumstances beyond their control.
The management of National Teaching Council (NTC) also stated that, the Ghana teacher licensure examination (GTLE) which was scheduled from 23rd September, 2021 to 24th September, 2021 has been postponed to 23rd October, 2021 to 24th October, 2021 for those who has registered for the first time and those who have written some before but failed some of the papers. This indicates that, courses like literacy and Essential professional skills will be conducted on 23rd October, 2021, and Numeracy will be conducted on 24th October, 2021.
The National Teaching Council (NTC) concluded that, applicants seeking to participate in the impending teachers’ test have been entreated to check their confirmation status before they proceed to purchase a voucher card for registration of the Ghana teacher licensure examination.
