KETU SOUTH: The Community Day Senior High School Starts Admission(E-Block)

The “If it’s urgent, go and do it”. Was what the chief of Aflao, Torgbui Amenya Adzunugaga Fiti received as a response from the President, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo for asking about the uncompleted Senior High School In Aflao.

The Community Day Senior High School( E-block) has started admitting students but not entirely completed.

The Ketu South Directorate of education has decided to open the school for students.

Michael Yao Tsuiatorfe, Ketu South Municipal Director, Ghana Education Service (GES), told journalists that,

“Currently, the main placements have been done. The first placement of students is still ongoing. We have also been authorized by the Regional Director to see to the enrollment of the students that qualify to enter SHS,”

A controversy cropped up on this E-block when the president, Nana Addo Danquah said that if the chief is in a hurry to have the school completed, his outfit can complete it without the government.

This raised many issues regarding how the president of late has been treating citizens who try to question him on national issues.

In the minority’s tour to Ketu South, the chief said that the approach by the government to schools in his area has not been encouraging and therefore pled that the minority extend a hand in making the school possible for students about going to the secondary school.
