Throwback Photos that describe the moods of students after lost in the NSMQ.

NSMQ is an annual science and mathematics content-based national level quiz competition for senior high schools in Ghana.

It has been produced by Primetime limited, an education-interest advertising and public relations agency since 1993.

Primetime has been NSMQ’s oldest sponsor since 1993 till date. And it has also been their main supporter through bad and good time.

The NSMQ was initially programmed for only government schools to contest until recent times when the NSMQ amended the laws and policies to accept private schools to also take part in the contest.

Enough with the introduction for the day. Let’s move to the main topic which got all of us here.

As NSMQ got good memories of joyful moments, it also houses very sad moments as a result of pain exits or lost in the contest.

Pictures of sad moments which couldn’t skip the sad memories of a NSMQ. This is a Ghana based Indian who has been in the national science and maths quiz (NSMQ) for three consecutive time.

She has been captured and seen many times in the NSMQ contest. She was captured on television crying when the school lost in the quarterfinals in 2017. This is one of the sad moments in the NSMQ. Two ladies were also captured crying when their school West Africa Senior High School (WASHS) lost to St. Peter’s on finals. This was one of the darkest days of the school since 2018 was their first time in the finals. A teacher of keta senior high school (KETASCO) was also seen crying uncontrollably when his school keta senior high school lost the quarterfinals to Presbyterian senior high school (PRESEC). This was heart touching for everyone in that particular building. This is another heart breaking picture of a girl crying uncontrollably in the open crowd captured on camera. She described this as a heart break when she witnessed her school kicked out in the semifinals of the quiz. A student from Presbyterian senior high school cries when they lost bitterly to St. Augustine in the finals. Another sad moment captured when an old student (old school boy) and a former contestant cries when his school lost in the quarterfinals and was second on the list.

these are few throwbacks from the previous quiz in the NSMQ which couldn’t skip the sad moments of the NSMQ program.
