GES gives updates on National Standardized Test for basic schools. All should take note.

The curriculum of the basic schools were changed to reflect the direction of the country towards educating our wards for a better future life. As part of the changes, students in the basic levels are not to write end of term exams but to take a National Standardized test as a general assessment for all students across the country. For the year 2021, GES has now finalized the date for taking the exam. For all basic four pupils, the test will be written on the 17th December 2021. According to the post on GES facebook handle this evening Monday 6th December 2021, due to the test, all basic schools will vacate on same day and that GES will make up for the lost vacation period in the following academic calendar. The exam will be taken by more than 500,000 pupils in more than 2,000 exam centers, and over 15,000 schools. Teachers and masters are to take note. See posts below
