The Ghana National Association of Teachers GNAT has made a financial presentation of Ghs4000.00 to assist it's member to undergo a surgery.
Mr Emmanuel Azongo Abugri, a primary school teacher at Duadinyediga primary school in the Garu-Tempane District of the upper east region of Ghana has received an amount of Ghs4000.00 from the Ghana Association of Teachers to assist him undergo his surgery.
The district secretary during the presentation said, as part of the union's high affinity for its members welfare in times of crisis such as teachers condition of health has always been the priority of the association.
However, the secretary added that, teachers who are members of the Union currently enjoy free cancer treatment if the individual falls victim of the disease.
They are therefore urging all teachers who are not members of the Ghana Association of Teachers to quickly sign up by taking forms at any of their district, regional offices to become a member to enjoy amazing offers.
