Ghanaians are still sharing mixed reviews after yesterday’s ruling on some 2 yet to be admitted Achimota Scholl. According to the ruling by Judge Gifty Addo, Achimota School should admit the 2 boys without any discrimination to their hairdo. This ruling has got many talking since yesterday and the discussion has travelled into today.
Today, Tuesday, June 1, 2021 Alhassan Suhuyini joined Serwaa Amihere on ‘GHToday’ to discuss the court ruling. According to him, the ruling was in the right direction and a good way to go for the country. He was of enormous praise for the 2 boys who had sued Achimota and won. He challenged them to stay focused as always and be good future leaders.
“At their age you would have thought they will give up. These are the people we need in future. People who will believe in something and willing to go all out to defend and fight for it to be done. Such a generation will not be taken for granted by the government, commander in chief of the armed forces and IGP. Because they know their rights and responsibilities and will go all out to see that it is achieved.
They did not opt for other schools and say let’s give it to God. They are the young ones we need for the future” the Tamale North law maker said. However, the other panelists on the show failed to agree with Alhassan Suhuyini.
