Ghana Education Service Management has written to Regional Directors,District Directors,Head Teachers and teachers at the Junior High Schools to postpone the training program at the district level scheduled for Monday 11th January, 2021 to Friday 15 January, 2021.
In a letter signed by Dr. Kwabena Tandoh, Deputy Director General(Q&A) copies to the chairman, Ghana Education Service Council, The Director General of Ghana Education Service, The Deputy Director General(MS), Ghana Education Service, Director, HRMD, GES, Director Schools and Instructions, GES.

In light of this, the Common Core Program training slated for Monday January 11, 2021 at the district level to prepare Junior High School Teachers is postponed. A new date will be communicated in due time
The training workshop that was organized for Subject specialists who are supposed to train Junior High School teachers at the district level was boycotted by trainers of trainees later part of the training program.
A new curriculum which is expected to begin implementation next week, management of Ghana Education Service is yet train teachers to enable them gain knowledge in the structure of the curriculum and topics.
Ghana Education Service has instructed all schools from KG to Junior High Schools to use the first 8 weeks of reopening for recovery Learning lost.
