One of the bragging points of the New Patriotic Party [NPP] with claims of a fulfilled governance is the execution of the Free Senior School program that is currently ongoing in every part of the country.
It has been a worry for many Ghanaians as to what will be the faith of the Free Senior High School Program with the emergence of the International Monetary Fund bailout being procured by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
With that in mind, the Ministry of Finance has cleared the brouhaha saying that the implementation of the Free Senior High School Programme and other projects such as Agenda 111 will not be affected by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) program.
The Ministry explained in a document that IMF programs are flexible in response to evolving circumstances.
Ultimately, it said, the IMF encourages governments in their program design to protect the poor or vulnerable groups from the impact of fiscal adjustment.
They believe that will do all within their power at the negotiation table as they engage the International Monetary Fund team on the way to go and how to primary maintain its fee flow as it used to be.
