The Ghana Education Service has organized a teachers workshop for 3 days in order to equip teachers with the needed skills for the carriculum to take full force.
The Program is ongoing in all parts of Ghana and each teacher is expected to take Ghc60 at the End of the Workshop, Ghc10 is allocated for a meal.
This means that government is expected to spend approximately Ghc18, 000, 000 cedis on allowances to be paid over 300, 000 teachers. Food is expected to take approximately Ghc 3, 000, 000.
The Municipal Director of Education Responsible for Wa Municipality has been commended by Most Teachers within Wa Technical Institute undertaking their training.
Miss Sophia Dimah's Directorate served Teachers with rice and supporting proteins and with voltic mineral water, far different from previous experiences of teachers being served tea in polythene bags estimated to be below Ghc3.
Alhassan Kuta Jnr. "I've finished taking mine at the Loggu community SHS and I can confirm that our district office (Wa East) did very well. Kudos to them".
The various Directors have been urged to keep up the good works and they(teachers) will talk positively of them.
