Ghana Education Service is putting finishing touches to the 2021 Promotions. Documents of some professional teachers are being grilled at the Regional Education Offices. Ghana Education Service is also expected to issue promotion letters to the successful candidates in the next few months.
These promotion letters are normally inspected by Auditors as and when the need arises.
When should teachers expect the promotion letters?
Dispatching of letters and issues of correspondence require diligence and meticulous efforts.
Last year, successful candidates were issued with their promotion letters in the month of December, 2020. Going by this logic, newly promoted teachers should expect their letters in not less than three months time. That is, letters are likely to be in after September as the numbers for this year are staggering.
Teachers should note that, Ghana Education Service will send the promotion to the Regional Education Offices before onward dispatch to the Districts.
Unsuccessful and unqualified candidates should be careful as unscrupulous people could exploit and hand out fake letters to them.
