Meet The NPP Guru Whose Mother Sold "Koko" to Look after Him through School

The chances that you will be born with a silver spoon in your mouth or into a abject poverty is a matter of nature. The are those who begin life on a very bright note, as all what is needed for them to succeed in life are readily available. On the other hand however, there are those who have the odds against them, opportunities available to them are far and in-between.

I share with you the grass to grace story of the deputy communication director of the governing New Patriotic Party.

Mr. Kamal-deen Abdulai who was a panel of the TV3 new day show this morning, in discussion issues that border on unemployment, said there are several opportunities graduates of the country can explore. In an answer to why there are discrepancy between the figures provided by the Minister of Finance and the Tourism Ministry, he said he wasn't impressed with the number of jobs the Tourism Ministry intends to create. He was of the view that, there are a lot of jobs that can be created if the ministry create awareness of the beautiful sceneries that the nation has. 

In his submission, he sighted the numerous jobs that can be created if graduate are trained to visit the schools and whip up interest in the students to visit our tourist sites. He cited the Achimota Forest and Accra Zoo as examples. He said if these places are visited, it will create jobs for tour guards, hotels and local craftsmen.

He also said that you don't need to come from a worthy home to make it in live. Mr. Kamal-deen Abdulai revealed that, his mother sold porridge to take him and his siblings through school.
