Good News To All 2021 WASSCE Candidates
This year, so many things have changed with regard to the usual timetable of students, who have enrolled in schools at the basic level, through to the senior high level, to the topmost tertiary level of education.
The shift in schedule favored some students while other students had the dying urge to return to school.
All in all, every school reopened successfully and started academic work as it's expected.
Some tertiary institutions have adapted to the online system of learning and also included the usual face-to-face style of lecturing that was practiced before the sudden rise of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Some tertiary students take their exams online while others move to their various lecture halls to write theirs.
One recent issue about the timetable of senior high school students came up not long ago. The newly adjusted timetable had to do with the postponement of Reopening dates for final year students who are supposed to sit for 2020/2021 WASSCE.
The Ghana Education Service indicated their reopening date had to be rescheduled to ensure they stay in school for a longer period before their final exam.
A few days ago, the date for the 2020/2021 WASSCE was released, and I feel it is good news for all WASSCE candidates.
The date set which is August 16th to September 30th will help students prepare adequately for the forthcoming exam.
Getting enough time to prepare for WASSCE is one thing that has been a big problem for all final year students over the past few years.
Since the syllabus and subjects to cover before writing the huge is very colossal, I feel the number of months given for this year's WASSCE preparation will go a long way in getting them well-prepared for the exam, so they can come out with flying colors.
I will urge all WASSCE candidates to take advantage of this rescheduled reopening date and the adjustment of the WASSCE date to prepare adequately in order to finish their school education with excellent results.
