School To Participate In The 65th Independence Anniversary

The Public and private schools from all levels of education will on the 6th of March 2022 take part in the celebration of Ghana's 65th Independence Anniversary celebration. This year's celebration will be held in the Cape Coast Sports Stadium, Central Region.

Information gathered by Bricy Boateng from credible source indicate that Regional Directors of Education have been charged with a letter from the headquarters of GES in Accra to make preparations towards the celebration by directing district directors and head teachers to also train and prepare students to mark the celebration.

The theme for the country's first Independence anniversary parade after the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic in Ghana is “ Working together, bouncing back better”. The event will be held on Sunday, after which students will rest in their homes on Monday, 7th March 2022.

The organization of the parade depends on how it is done in every district; in some Districts, the circuit centres host all the public and private schools in the area where others allow schools to host them internally.
