Dr. Eric Nkansah has diligently served the community for the past 13 years in the roles of a banker, lecturer, researcher, and financial consultant. He worked for the Department of Banking Technology and Finance at Kumasi Technical University as a Senior Lecturer.

Since his 2012 entrance, he has significantly contributed to the expansion of the university (in the areas of teaching, research, program creation, etc.). Before attending college, he spent more than five years as the sales manager at the Krofrom branch of Barclays Bank of Ghana (now Absa).

A graduate of the University of Cape Coast in Ghana and the University of Zululand in South Africa, he holds a B.A. (Hons) in Economics and a Ph.D. in Financial Economics (2015–2018). He also holds an MBA in Finance from KNUST Business School in Ghana (2008–2010).

After the sudden sack of Professor Kwasi Opoku Amankwaa, the President immediately designated someone to take over. Is the Finance Minister going to be next since there have been rants of his poor performance amidst the defense and justifications by the President? Leave your comments and let us engage.
