The Vice President of the republic of Ghana, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been massively praised on his Facebook page after he joined Fijai Senior High School, Sekondi in the celebration of their 70th anniversary today.
One remarkable achievement made by this school is that the school has never experienced any mayhem or students' unrest since its establishment, and the Vice President made no delay in praising them for such achievement.
On his Facebook page, he wrote that at the anniversary, he emphasized that government is not only looking to the Free Senior High School as its development tool, but is also focusing on TVET as a powerful pathway to equip people with technical and professional skills needed for socioeconomic and industrial development of the country.
He was also glad to announce that the government $500 million to equip 54 NVTIs, technical universities and technical institutes.
