The NSMQ Ashanti Regional Qualifiers took off some few days ago. Due to the large number of schools which are participating in the Ashanti Region, the qualifier's contests would take five days for it to be completed.
Day Four of the Ashanti Regional Qualification happened today, Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Fifteen (15) schools from the region faced off in four different contests. Contestants from the various schools performed excellently as they answered questions in the field of Mathematics and Science.
Four (4) schools from the region emerged winners at then end of their respective contests and hence qualified for the National Championship.
Prior to today's contests, 12 schools from Ashanti Region had already secured a place in the quiz's national competition.
Day Two of the Volta Regional Qualification was also held today. Four (4) schools which emerged as winners of respective contests have qualified for the national competition.
Prior to today's contests in the Volta Region, 4 schools had already progressed to the National Championship.
After this qualification, the various schools would be preparing for the regional championship which follows after the regional qualification competition is completed. Stay connected for more updates.

Kpando SHS - 43 points
Awudome SHS – 38 points
St. Mary’s Sem. SHS – 33 points
St. Paul’s SHS – 18 points
Kumasi Girls’ SHS – 44 points
Kumasi High School – 39 points
Konongo-Odumase SHS – 33 points
KNUST SHS – 32 points
The excitement and joy could be seen on the faces of the students who were supporting Kumasi High School and Kumasi Girls’ SHS after they won their respective contests. Both schools had failed to qualify for the National Championship in the previous edition.
