Hello, thanks for clicking on this article. Please follow me for more.

Today our post is coming from the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneural Development (AAM-USTED) formerly University of Education Winneba,Kumasi Campus (UEW-K).

Ghana has a new public university which is located in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The University gained autonomous about two years ago by the Act of Parliament.

The name of the university is Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneural Development(AAM-USTED). This was innovated when the government of Ghana made the university autonomous from the University of Education Winneba (UEW).

The school is faced with a very big problem that needs to be dealt with, with immediate effect. The main street on the campus to various faculties and halls get flooded with water and other social dust whenever it rains for a long time. This has been one of the problems of the university since it's establishment as a campus under university of education. Students cannot walk on this street when its rains for that long. Cars can barely drive on that street.

Students are appealing to the government and school management to do something about it. There is a big gutter in the school leading to the Business Faculty Block which always get spillage when it rains heavily. The gutter is not always safe for students as well when passing there in the evening especially when it rains.

We are in the raining season and a lot of places get flooded. Some areas in Kumasi has gotten flooded recently due to the heavy downpour. Roads that needs to constructed must be dealt with on time as well as large gutters. This will save us all from flood.

Thank you for reading.
