To ensure the continuous professional development of the Ghanaian teacher, several measures are being put in place to make this objective is achievable.
As today's world is predominantly becoming digital ,it's quite prudent that this new trend is replicated in all aspects of our national lives.
In view of this trend, teachers who play a critical role in nation building as educators needs to part of this new phenomena.
The national teaching council which is the body in charge of teachers licensure examination has opened an oline platform where inservice teachers can log on to create their individual portals which will serve as a platform for teachers licensing .The portal will also provide the NTC (national teaching council) a database on all public school teachers
Every public school teacher is therefore advised to visit the NTCs website and get themselves registered or create the portal .
Requirements for the registration includes the following.
1.social security number
3.All academic and professional certificates
5.An active email address
All these documents must be scanned and converted into either Pdf,Png,Jpeg before uploading.
It's very easy and convenient to create the portal online logging onto https://tpg.ntc.gov.gh using any web browser on any internet enabled device.
The hope is that this measures will contribute immensely towards making the teaching profession a lucrative venture in terms of remuneration and other conditions of services
