Sad News For All First Year SHS Students

Ghana Education Service has announce the postponement school re-opening for all first year students to 18th March 2021.

The Ghana Education Director General (Deputy) made the announcement in a press release 08/03/21.

The Deputy Director General - Ghana Education Service Mr. Anthony Boateng siad, the postponement move, is allow those who are facing challenges in the School Placement System to rectify it and make the necessary corrections. And also to allow those who are having challenges in your adminssion process to correct it and complete their admission process.

First year students was suppose to report in their various schools this week. Students have prepared themselves for school and only for them to hear that "school re-opening has been postponed to 18 March,2021.

This news is not a pleasant news to the first year students, since this their time of reporting to school after coronavirus shatdown. Schools was close for almost a year.

Coronavirus force the government to order the closedown of all schools in the country in March 2020. The pandemic force the government to closedown all schools so not to put the students at risk.

The government begin the easement on coronavirus last year August and some where allow to go to school under condition.

Students are pious and happy to be in school after a long break.
