
The first contest of the National Science and Maths quiz semi finals has ended with Prempeh College from the Ashanti Region beating Mfantsipim School and Abetifi Presby senior high school. They secured their spot in the finals while the wait for the next two schools.
In an interview with Joy news, Prempeh College assured that they want Presbyterian Boys Senior High School from Accra and Opoku Ware from Ashanti Region at the finals to beat them back to back.
According to Prempeh, even in their even in their worst form they always remain formidable. In an interesting analogy, Prempeh College won 1/8 stage (46,40) with a difference of 6, the quarter final (47,41) also difference 6 points and the semi finals (49, 43) with same 6 points difference.
According to them, this is not a sheer coincidence, because the sixth trophy is coming home, and it's here in Kumasi already.
