The Ghana Education Service GES in conjunction with the West Africa Education council has led down the various procedure to calculate the total aggregate for the just released Basic Education Certificate Examination BECE.
The Service has reinterpreted the fact that all the four core subject are keenly important. This literally means that the total aggregate for the examination will be based on the sum of the following subject
1. English Language
2. Mathematics
3. Social Studies
4. Integrated Science.
The remaining two subject will be any best from the other registered and written elective subject.
Most pupils have however thought the calculations will be based on the best six pass.
However the Service has not released a date for the placement of the BECE graduate into the various senior high school. In some school, most juniors (SHS 1) students have not finished their academic year.
However Eveybody anticipate the release of the placement hopefully before the end of the year.
