Ras Nkrabea the father of Oheneba Kwaku Nkrabea who is a newly admitted Rastafarian student in the Achimota school situated in the countries capital, has hinted of his plans to join the Parent Teachers Association of the school in order to bring change in schools management.
Ras Nkrabea in an interview with joy prime's prime morning on Thursday, June 3, believes since his child has been admitted to the school he automatically becomes a member of the Parent Teachers Association of the school.
However the PTA has expressed it's support to the schools management when they refused to admit students with dreadlocks .
The school strictly adhere to the low cut hair style which promotes uniformity and discipline and argued that the hairstyles of Oheneba Kwaku Nkrabea and Tyron Murghuy was against that.
In view of this Ras Nkrabea hopes he is warmly received received by the leadership and members of the association.
Ras Nkrabea has also mentioned that in his bid to see reform in the school, he intends to run for position in the PTA and make substantial contributions to their discussions." If there is position to fill to make the school better then yes" - as he spoke to the host Daniel Dadzie.
