Honourable Mavis Hawa Koomson, the member of parliament for Awutu Senya East Constituency who doubles as the minister of fisheries and Aquaculture Development on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has revealed that it's true she did not go to the big schools like Wesley Girls' Senior High School and Achimota senior high school but she's so much elated that her children have completed such big Senior High Schools in the nation.
Hawa Koomson speaking on the Metro television a program called "Good Evening Ghana" said that her background was maybe poor and she do not regret she attended that school. Although my English is not fluent but I assure you that I'm the best member of parliament and minister under the leadership of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
What I believe in is hardworking and perseverance in everything you do for the people you lead to love you and cherish you always. During the time I was the special initiative development minister, everybody got to know that I was hardworking and I was privileged to appointed as minister of fisheries.
