Not only did he play football in Europe but also observed keenly how free education helped children of all backgrounds to pursue their dreams and become what their minds can envision. President of Liberia and former professional footballer, George Weah, has declared university education tuition-free for undergraduates in his country, a feat worthy of emulation. "Education is a tool which you can use to change the world."
George Weah may not be a lawyer, doctor, scholar, etc but the man widely regarded as one of the greatest African players of all time is visionary. No wonder in 1995, he was named FIFA World Player of the Year and won the Ballon d'Or, becoming the first and to date only African player to win these awards.
Africa, for once we send a message to the world, that the dawning of a new day is at hand and that we accept and embrace the fact that the future of Africa is up to Africans. We will not and shall not continue sleeping forever. God bless Africa! God bless Liberia! God bless Prez. George Weah!

Great feat. White political leaders were scorning him when he decided to enter politics of Liberia.
He has proved them wrong. As the Late and first President of Ghana, once said "The black man is capable of managing his own affairs"
God bless you, President Weah. More greese to your political elbows in Jesus name.

Good initiative. I pray it can be sustained. Kudos President Weah.
