Health care is a shared responsibility; as Osei Tutu SHS old students supports alma mata

The President of 1981 year group of Osei Tutu Senior High School (Polly Boys), Nana Alhassan Nuhu Decko has appealed to stakeholders in the country to support health care delivery as government alone cannot do all.

At a sod cutting ceremony to commence modern state of art sick bay for the school (ABREMPONG) to boost efficient and effective health care delivery for the students, Dr. Asare Yeboah, Headmaster of Osei Tutu SHS was grateful of the gesture by the group.

He indicated that, the school population is over 3,500 and getting access to health care especially in times of emergency has been a problem but was optimistic the facility would go a long way to help the school fraternity as well as Akropong new site , Esaase and Bokankye enclaves when completed.

 Very Rev Godwin Amankwaah Amponsah, Circuit Minister of Abuakwa- Asenemaso Methodist church who represented Rt. Rev. Christopher Nyarko Andam, the Methodist Bishop of Kumasi-Archdiocese was also enthused with the support by the Polly Year Group as he challenged other year groups to emulate such a gesture.

Leaders of the group assured the school of their continuous support to ensure the health needs of both teachers and students are well taken care of at all times in an interview with Nana Akwasi kyere of Hello Fm in Kumasi.
