The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) in due course will release the appointment letters for 2017, 2018 trained teachers backlog who applied for the recruitment this year July, Education Minister has disclosed.
GES in a statement dated July 18 shared with Georgeweb.org announced the recruitment of teachers from Colleges of Education who were previously not qualified for recruitment but has subsequently qualified to be recruited.
The Service indicated such teachers must complete College of Education in 2017 or 2018 and have no outstanding/ referral paper, complete one-year mandatory national service and have passed the teacher licensure exams.
Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh in an interview monitored by Georgeweb.org noted the Ghana Education Service at the appropriate time will release the appointment letters for the backlog of 2017, 2018 CoE trained teachers.
The letters when released can be accessed at https://gespromotions.gov.gh here for a fee. Appointees expected to report to the Regional Directors with their appointment letters and certificates for further directives.
