In a live interview with some of the Vice Chancellors at the various Universities via zoom on the "beyond the Lockdown show on Joy news TV" on Sunday evening 3rd may 2020, there were a lot of concerns coming out from students which the various Vice Chancellors present took their time to clearify students on their worries.
The program was designed to help students ask questions boarding their minds towards their academics in this crucial moment.
Complains came out from students concerning online quizzes and these were some of the response from the Vice Chancellors.
Mr. Andy Ofori Birikorang, the pro. Vice For UEW said " the online quizzes is to cover the assessment aspect for students and if there is any difficulty such as light out or poor Network that makes it impossible for any student to take part in the quizzes, there will be a supplimentary quizzes to be organize for such students to also partake. He added that if the students did not also meet the supplimentary quizzes they will again be given the chance to write when school resumes but it will take place online.
Prof. John Gyapong, Vice For University of health and allied sciences said the school will not conduct any online assessment but will continue with the online teaching and learning.
The Vice Chancellor for the university of professional studies, Prof. Abednego O. Amartey also said the school have started with the online teaching and learning but due to data complications coming up from students, the school has changed it method to recording lessons and posting it onto the various platforms for students to access anytime.
There were other questions on graduation by a student of UEW which was responded by the Pro.Vice Chancellor, "If you have satisfy all your requirement necessary such as presenting your projects and others, the school will award you your certificate.
