From Grass To Grace, Young Graduate Shares Photo Of Room He Used To Sleep While At School

A young Zambian graduate has taken to social media to give out encouragement to the younger ones who may be passing through difficulties not to give up in life.

Many see campus life as being full of fun but a lot of students do face a lot challenges in their bid to get educated in the higher institution.

According to a Facebook post by Zambia Reports, Maake Shadreck shared the experience he went through in University as he was said to have slept in a room that had no mattress for two years.

Not just room that had no mattress, he also had to endure the stress of being a squatter.

The young graduate who was delighted for successfully graduating was quoted as saying in his Facebook page "2 years of sleeping on the floor at 25 Mathivha Street, Mankweng Zone 1 and one year of being a squatter on campus taught me to never give up in life and continue enduring even when there's no sign of change.

He continued, "However, even if you pray day and night, if you don't work smart and diligent. You will never move to the next layer ”.

He shared pictures of the said room and his recent achievement. Though, he has been receiving congratulatory messages on his achievement, response from readers said his condition while at the campus was much better than others given the kind of properties which was in his room then.
